Would it be a serious bottleneck for ssd's if it was msata II?

MSATA II, my Mushkin Atlas Deluxe is limited to 330MB/Sec in my Y500.

Sounds like SATA 6 Gb/s to me. You're not gonna be breaking 300 MB/s on a SATA 3 Gb/s bus.

mSATA III. Has to be. Being a later chipset and all. Heck my Y570 is mSATA III. And as octiceps said, if you are hitting over 300MB/Sec, that is definitely SATA III.

    Don't shoot me if I'm wrong but sata II is 3gigabits/s. 3/8 = 0,375 gigabytes/s = 375 Mb/s.

So 330Mb/s is within the sata II limit.

There's overhead so you'll never reach the theoretical maximum. Same goes for other computer bus interfaces. I can guarantee that the mSATA slot in the Y500 is SATA III.
