    If you compare the result in the sticky thread "Do you like your Toshiba?" at Toshiba forum with that in the thread "IBM/Lenovo Satisfaction Poll", you will see some difference.

    I have both Toshiba and ThinkPad. I would say that Toshiba is quite cheap compared to ThinkPad.

    I had a toshiba for awhile when my thinkpad finally died (after many years of faithful service). I was just borrowing it for a little while until I got my new thinkpad. It's amazing how much you appreciate the little things in a thinkpad when you are forced to use another machine for awhile. I found myself getting constantly annoyed with the toshiba because it had all these little quircks that thinkpad never struggled with.

    My advice is to get the thinkpad, you won't regret it.
