Hi all,
I just got a new T40 (24 hours into our relationship, it feels like a wonderful little machine), but I've got a problem: The touchpad (and its buttons) are not working; the pointing stick (eraserhead and its buttons), onthe other hand, works well.
In the user's manual, I'm told to go to the "Mouse" item in the Control pannel (I'm running XP Pro). Then I'm told to click on the "UltraNav" tab, and ta-dah! I realize that it's not there (available tabs: Buttons, Pointers, Pointer Options Hardware, and Device Settings). Does it mean that I have the wrong driver, that I can't access the touchpad (but there's one, of course!)? If so, can I download it from somewhere?
And if not, where is that problem coming from, then? Is there some button I should press somewhere? I'm really puzzled, to the point that I don't care looking like a fool if the answer is very obvious;-)
Thanks a lot in advance!

Would've given you a direct link to the drivers section, but I thought you
might like the link to the already own thinkpads page.
Just follow the drivers and downloads link on that page and
you should be able to find every driver for everything in your T40.
Hope this helps.
