I don't have this problem with other 5 laptops I used
The left click shifts one 1 sideway to another. It starts to annoy me.
BTW I start to disappoint at thinkpads. I bought T61 because of its reputation and I want a good reliable laptop. Event tho the laptop has a slick think look, there is a few cosmetic flaws in this laptop after a week. I don't care much about the comestic flaws but the screen does bother me. I have a WVGA 14" screen, did not get WVGA+TFT 'cause t makes the text smaller I just hope this laptop is durable and reliable.

How in the world did you get WVGA on your ThinkPad? Do you mean WXGA?

I don't think I quite understand your problem. What do you mean by your left click shifts sideways?

Mine did that too. I used my onsite warranty and they replaced the whole front-top of the laptop (from the bottom of the keyboard down till the bottom). It works good now.
