    Hi all,

For the past few weeks I have had severely annoying problems with my touchpad. Basically I have to tap multiple times and with more force than I should have to. At first I assumed the sensitivity was messed up, so I checked it but it was where it has been since I bought it ( August ) which is 1 tick away from the most sensitive setting. I turned the setting all the way to the max and the problem has somewhat gone away, but it STILL happens from time to time.

I am not really sure what to do: call Lenovo ( please god no ), or are there things I can do to assess whether it is faulty? Usually there are self check features, or diagnosis tools but frankly I am not familiar enough with touchpads to know if they exists and are reliable or not.

    Thanks for any tips.

touchpads work based on capacitance principle making use of the small voltage on our body. so make sure ur body has no problem by asking someone else to do the touch pad tapping and see if it works for him. the touchpad insensitivity is common to people in cold weather conditions

Do you know of a tool that could help show that is the case?

    My concern is:

Defective / flawed -> send back ASAP
