This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I just have a few nagging problems with my thinkpad that I've finally decided to deal with

    I have a R61 running on vista, and the TrackPoint scroll doesn't work for some programs such as MS office, but works for firefox. Is this a common problem, or am I just missing some drivers?

    Also, when I set my notebook to hibernate, the computer will sometimes give me a BSOD, and prompting me to restart. How do I solve this problem?

    Edit: I just remember, the scrolling thing works for Excel, but not for Word
