I've been experiencing significant trackpoint/trackpad issues on my T440s. Previously, they would work intermittently, randomly working then not working after rebooting. Now, neither of them seem to work at all. I've tried reinstalling the drivers on the Lenovo website, but the computer cannot seem to find the trackpoint/trackpad - for example, when installing the Firmware update tool. it says "no supported devices found." When I try to go the mouse section of the Control Panel, it says "Unable to connect to the Synaptics Pointing Device Driver," and then the Trackpoint tab is gone. Is this a software or a hardware issue, and how can I fix it?

Ok, I got it installed by cleaning the Synaptics entry in the registry. The trackpad is now fully functional, but right now I can only left click when using the Trackpoint - middle click and right click do not work at all. I've experienced this issue before as well. How do I fix it?
