I have noticed that my trackpoint sensitivity keeps getting reset to the default value. I like it to be a little more sensitive so I don't feel like i'm jamming my finger in the direction I want the pointer to go. I also disable tapping on the touchpad because It will randomly click on things when I don't want it to.

Anyhow, every now and then I notice that the settings have somehow reset themselves to the default value. Anyone else having a similar issue? Any Ideas on how to possibly fix the issue? I am running vista ultimate 32bit. I remember having the same problem when I had business and since then I've reformatted and reinstalled. I can't remember if it was resetting itself when I had xp.

Do you have any Logitech stuff with your laptop ? Their drivers seems to work badly with many touchpad drivers.

One of my friend have exactly the same problem with a Dell, and it seems that uninstalling those Logitech drivers solved the problem.

I've tried the logitech mouse drivers on my vista laptop, and it did exactly the same thing (HP). Synaptics software doesn't seem to go well with Logitech drivers.

    Looking forward for a solution.
