I recently purchased the y50UHD with the 512gb 16ram etc, I had an harddrive from transcend that will happen to only work on the ports on the right(USB2) and it can't be detected by the USB3 ports at all although it powers up. Other Usb2 devices including harddrives work on the usb3 slot, not sure about usb3 devices though as that harddrive is the only thing i have thats usb3. Any one know why this is and if there is a solution ? I've tried re installing all the drivers and hd drivers and have reformatted it also.
