I recently purchased a Y410p with a 24GB SSD + 1TB HDD. I'm going to downgrade to Windows 7 x64 and I'd like transfer my data intact from the Y480 (120GB SSD + 500GB HDD) as painlessly as possible. I purchased a 120GB NGFF M.2 SSD for the Y410p. Can anyone help me figure this out? I don't have an external nor can I borrow one, I'd like to do this without having to buy one.

Kinda gimmicky, but here goes. I recommend using EASUS Todo Backup to clone drives.
1. Open up both laptops.
2. Take out 500GB HDD place it on the side. I assume this drive has some of your data, so we will leave it here for the time being.
3. Place 1TB drive in Y480. Format 1TB drive.
4. Clone contents of 120GB Msata to 1TB drive.
5. Place 1TB drive in Y410p. Place 120GB M.2 in Y410p. Clone contents of 1TB drive (which contained Y480 SSD data) to M.2 drive, then erase HDD.
6. Place 500GB HDD in Y410p.
7. Buy USB 3.0 enclosure (20$) for 1TB HDD.
8. Clone 500GB HDD to 1TB HDD.
9. Place 1TB HDD in Y410p.
