    Oh My God!!!
That new lenovo logo is ugly!!!!!!!
Thinkpads are suppose to be matte, how come they put a GLOSSY logo on it!!!!
I really loved the x300, now i have to reconsider it!

I don't even think the new ThinkPad logo is glossy. It looks like the same texture as the old IBM logos:

Even if so, you're going to decide on the purchase of a laptop by the sticker? Sounds silly to me.

    How about ridiculous!? :D

I think that's the sweetest laptop I've seen in a long time. ;)

The "Tseries" is smooth but not glossy and the "ThinkPad" is a nice brushed stainless steel look.

A major improvement, IMHO - but looks are subjective.

I can't believe that some people would discuss so much about a logo. But then again, I suppose that Lenovo knows who's dealing with. :))

Its probably just a plot for them to tease us with an x300 video... without actually calling it a video about the x300...

I will need more than a logo to buy another ThinkPad! I don't know where they get this idea of great service. I had to exchange a R61 because of a defective keyboard (I was within the 30 days of purchase, that was in October) and bought a T61 instead. Can you believe that I haven't been refunded? It has been 3 months. I had a RMA number , they have confirmed receiving the R61. All os ok to process the refund. But no refund. Just a promess that it will done in the next 5 business day. I’ve been told that for the last 3 months. NEVER got a call back from the person taking care of my return. Only got replied to my emails (days and weeks after I send them) by the second sales rep. I was calling Lenovo once a week, (didn’t to be annoying, I understand that they are busy). Every sale rep would listen to my story but no one would call back to keep me posted. When I started calling and emailing twice a week... I got a bit more action. I was told again today that it will be done in the next 5 business day. And to call back next Tuesday... I'm just a returning student who tought he was getting the best for his money... As if anyone cared at Lenovo!

Which department did you communicate with? Because if you don't talk to the right department they will only relay your information and the return, etc. Hopefully you get it resolved soon and get back your money.
