Travel Keyboard w Ultranav Fn key not work & also scrolling zones on trackpad
I just got the USB Travel size USB Keyboard with Ultranav:
ThinkPad Travel UltraNav USB Keyboard
The travel version of the above:

When plugging into my T61, it has some issues... which I am hoping will go away..?
It gets recognized as multiple devices when plugged in.. (one of the notifications.. as a USB hub)..
- Keyboard when plugged in goes into its own Numlock state (even when I toggle using the Numlock on the T61's own keyboard) and hence all keys to right side of the QWERTY become the Numeric keys etc.
- For now, the Fn key doesnt seem to be recognized or working so I cant Disable the numlock.
So, I downloaded the sw/ drivers located here:
Lenovo Support & downloads - USB Keyboard and Travel Keyboard with UltraNav driver
When I tried to install the Driver it said I already have more recent version of synaptics driver and couldnt install unless I uninstalled the existing installation.
Then I installed the Hotkey driver v2.0.1.3.. So far still the same response.
I havent yet restarted the machine... so... any suggestions welcome. Hopefully its fixed or you guys have a fix, when I wake up and restart tomorrow.
- RESTARTED - No change at all.
There is no way to disable the Numlock. Apparently the Fn key does not work as well.

Thanks for someones insights I got a partial solution... But Fn key is still gone.
Partial patch:
When I went for "Synchronized" vs "Independent" status of keyboards, the Numlock issue got fixed since it now syncs with the T61/BIOS state for Numlock etc.
ISSUES LEFT:
- I updated to latest Lenovo BIOS just to be sure.
- All the options said and done... 'Fn' key option in Keyboard section relates only to enabling/disabling 'Fn' key as a STICKY key.
- 'Fn' key from USB keyboard does not work. Do I need some special driver for this to work? I am guessing this key is faulty?? Can I concur on this... ?
- Access IBM (USB) .. also does not work. (Thinkvantage on T61 works).
- Also... No scrolling zones etc. like the Internal Trackpad. How do I enable that?
PS: Also, which drivers do I need to have? When i attempted to installed the specific drivers it exited by saying I had more recent Synaptic drivers.
I wonder if the ones I have are generic synaptic v/s these specific ones?
