This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Trying to install Win7 x64 on a V130-15IGM, can't find USB and Ethernet drivers

    Most of the drivers on the Lenovo support page can't be installed or are otherwise useless. Chipset drivers work but don't seem to include USB drivers. Drivers from the Intel website can't be installed either.

    The only way to transfer data to this notebook right now is via the DVD drive, which is extremely annoying. And of course since neither touchpad nor USB works I have to do everything with mouse keys on the numpad.

    I bought this notebook without an OS and nowhere was it mentioned that it wouldn't be compatible with Win7. This is stupid.
