    Hi,

I bought a WD scorpio blue hard drive and a serial ATA ultrabya adapter and I am trying to fit the hard drive into the enclosure. It is the right size and it fits,
but it came with screws to secure it on the sides of the drive. There are no
compatible holes in the enclosure. As a result, it moves around unless the enclosure is kept completely horizontal. Is this still okay to put into the ultrabay drive? I am extremely hardware incompetent.

    Thank you.

If you plug in the hdd in the 2nd hdd ultrabay adapter then it does not move around because there is no space for it to move around. The hdd is not screwed in or otherwise attached to the ultrabay adapter except for the sata plug.

That makes sense, thank you. The package of screws that came with the drive
confused me, but they are obviously for doing something else.
