Will I have difficulty using the 1 gig of Intel Turbo memory if I upgrade to 4gigs of ram, seeing as I don't plan on upgrading to 64bit O/S, and 32bit o/s runs into the memory ceiling at like 3.3gigs? Basically I'm afraid I will freak out my computer, and have an expensive card that will be useless.

You won't have any problems but it would be a waste of money.

Yea, ITM is essentially useless to you.

I dont know about a waste of money, the ITM card came with the laptop, but it is nice to think that it may be acting as disk cache, and the reason to upgrade to 4gigs is that Idle, with all of the lenovo stuff installed (drivers and crap) I usually have 99-106 processes chewing up just over a gig of ram.

Turbo Memory isn't going to do anything, though you'd be better off following a clean install/tweak guide. You have way too many processes running.

Yea, i have about the same with ITM on and i notice a small difference in boot time and thats it. I usually idle around 40% of my 3 gigs and i havent seen that to be a problem yet. Also, thats nothing compared to my roommate who has somehow managed to idle (or so he says) at 2.5Gbs under Ultimate. But overall, again, the performance difference will be negligible and the only way to really see them would be on paper.

I am doing a clean install, but I need the drivers for the fingerprint scanner, and OSD, and WiFi Manager, and battery utility, at the least... Those are the things I actually use, And I do like the thinkvantage stuff, but I plan on installing ultimate tonight, It should be interesting to see what kind of mess I make.

Were you not give a driver cd?
