So Ive read all the comments about how terrible Turbo memory is, but after using it on my T61 for the last 2 weeks, my "butt dyno" tells me that intensive applications such as Photoshop open much quicker after the Turbomemory adapts to my usage patterns. Maybe its just in my head...anyone else?

Indeed, I think the apps start much quicker and just overall the rig is much more responsive than what I was used to before.

Once it learns what you use the most it should. Because it can keep some of the files needed to load Photoshop in the "Turbo" memory and pull them quicker when you start it.

I think the main problem is buggy drivers, hopefully that will be solved soon.

I ordered Turbo Memory for my Dell M1330. I will try a before and after benchmark to see what happens.

Props for the butt dyno comparo :) But that means you also know how powerful the placebo effect is!

I'd recommend flushing the entire turbo memory contents and seeing if it makes a difference...or asking a friend to do it sometime during the week when you're not around. I can't count all the times I thought a change made a big difference, only to benchmark under identical conditions and find otherwise!
