    Turbocache .. Help..!

    Hi guyz .. I have lenovo y500 with geforce go 7400.. It has turbocache tech.. Can anyone tell me how to switch off this turbocache ..I think its of no use and it just eats up my ram.. How to turn it off?

    Turbocache only borrows RAM when it needs it (ex. during gaming), so when you're doing general tasks it's not going to use any extra RAM.

    Yep i play games ..Bt it doesnt have any effect on gaming i think ..I want to provide more ram to games ..Im using vista ..Is there any way to turn it off?

    i dont think theres any method of disabling turbocache. it is a hardware firmwared method and you may have to write some new firmware if you really have to do that. nvidia had published this in their faq list a short time ago. but now its removed (have they found out some new method of controlling this ???)
    however none have i came across so far

    why do you want to turn it off? turning it off actually harms performance during gaming.

    I want to turn it off bcoz i dnt think its of any use while playing games ..My card is 128mb n it shows 387mb ..Jus taking my ram ..I want to disable it frm sharing system ram..
