    Hi guys,

I've got one of those T400's with the dud webcams (that make everything turn yellow) and I've sort of gotten it into my head that the problem is caused by interference from the yellow LED that turns on when when you turn the webcam on, because:

    1) the image is fine when background light is high (ie when the LED is being outdone by white light)

    2) when I block the LED from entering the camera, the picture becomes normal, and when I unblock it the picture becomes fine again

    3) Under medium light conditions, the yellow is on the side of the LED

Now I know next to nothing about cameras or anything, so I have no idea whether I'm right or not. As such, I don't really wanna stick a pin in and kill the LED until I'm sure, so is there anyway to turn it off while leaving the camera on?
