    Turning off annoying beep IE POWER CORD LENOVO 3000 G530

    Every time I plug/unplug the power cord to my machine I get an annoying BEEP.

    I can't figure out how to mute it.

    Have you tried a known good power cord?

    Should be an option in BIOS and/or Power Manager for it.

    Yep, check your BIOS options (access by repeatedly pressing F1 on immediate boot)--there should be an option called "Beep on Power State Change," or something similar. Just disable that and you should be fine!
