1.) Is it worth the $23 to upgrade the 14.1" screen from WXGA to WXGA+? I know the resolution is better, but is it much better?

2.) I noticed that there is no charge to add a WAN antenna. While I am not planning on using WAN right now, I might possibly use it in the future. Is there any disadvantage to getting the integrated antenna installed? I want this to be as portable as possible. Will it add any substantial weight?

For $23 I would go for more screen real-estate, but that's coming from a guy who got the 1920x1200 :D

It shouldn't add any noticeable weight, in case you want to ever get that in the future you would have it there and ready to go.

It won't add weight. The difference is 1280x800 vs. 1440x900. I think it's a great deal; jump on it.

Definitely worth it on my opinion. I'm never going back to 1280x800 if I can help it.

WXGA should only be in 12" laptops. Nothing bigger.

Thanks for the feedback. I think I'm going to upgrade to the WXGA+. One more question. I set up a quote over the weekend with the WXGA spec'd out. Since then the prices have gone up about $100. If I call to use the quote and try to upgrade the screen, will that make the quoted price invalid. Obviously the screen costs more, but will it jack up the price on everything else?

Does anyone know if the prices will go back down again? I don't have to buy for another two weeks or so, but if the T61 isn't getting any cheaper, I'd like to pull the trigger. Thanks.
