I was eager to procure this machine for work use, having owned and been happy with Lenovos previously. I've measured the temperatures on the keypad, top left, near Tab, Q, W, keys and it runs 110 degrees f. The underside I've measured at 114 degrees f. Battery life has never been better than 3 hours and generally I get two hours -- I've confirmed this via screenshots taken at appropriate intervals. Another issue is the that heat coming out of the vent is consistent and hot -- I've found it to be uncomfortably hot. I actually loathe this machine. I've had a technician look at it. They ran reports on the battery and said it was fine. They tried to address the heat issue by requesting parts replacement from Lenovo but told me that the parts they received were worse than the ones originally in there. Rather than attempt another go round of warranty repairs, I've asked this to be tagged as a lemon.

My main interests in procuring this model was the weight and the battery. The weight is fantastic.

I've also found the wifi to be more sluggish than my 2011 macbook pro, under the same conditions and within the same network.

    That's my personal experience.
