which would you say is a better deal if both are configured relatively close to the more expensive U330 model? Also it says the U330 does not come with LED display.... is that a mistake? Because the cheaper U330 has LED but the more expensive one doesn't.... which coupons are available right now for both computers also.

The U330 does come with an LED backlit display. The power management on the T400 appears to be MUCH better than its Ideapad counterpart, so if battery life is important to you I would recommend the T400. The deciding factors for me were the lighter weight and HDMI out that the U330 offers.

As for coupons- Google is your friend. And Slickdeals.net

I am certain the U330 has an LED backlit display. The website is incorrect.

I find the U330 is vastly superior to my M1330 for many reasons
    • Screen is brighter
    • Battery life is longer
    • New chipset (DDR3, Intel Wifi 5000 series, 25w TDP)
    • Keyboard is such an improvement, words cannot describe
    • Sturdier
    • Better price
    • Switchable graphics

The feature set is nearly identical to the M1330, but the U330 is simply better designed and a really solid notebook. I wont even add "for the price" because I would have happily paid much more for the U330.
