So....I took my U350 apart a couple of times to deal with heatpad problems, and now it looks like I've killed the wifi card.
So I bought a card off ebay that was advertised as from a sony viao, but it looks the same.....
Intel wifi link 5100, but the one out of the U350 is labelled 512ANHU , the other one is 512AN_HMW.
Stupidly ~I thought that would be ok but the lenovo now splashes up 'non supported wifi card' or sometrhing similar. Can I use the bios to force it to recognise the new card?
