    U400 does not boot

    Hi all, before I contact Lenovo I thought I might ask for some troubleshooting suggestions as my new U400 has suddenly stopped booting. Upon hitting the power button, I can hear the fan/HD but the screen remains blank. The power/battery indicator light at the front is on but there is no other response. Any ideas what I can try? Taking the battery out means I need to open the case which I would like to avoid. Thanks.
