    Can a bad Laptop Hard Disk also affect video driver? Experiencing hardly noticeable horizontal lines on screen :(

    No, that's not going to be a hard drive problem. Plug in an external screen if you have one available--are the lines also present on the external display? Also, do make sure your BIOS and graphics drivers are up to date (see Lenovo's website).

    The Hard drive temp is 78 degrees....

    That is an insanely high temperature for a hard drive. Back up your data, it's failing in a bad way.
