Looks like we don't have a thread for U530 touch owners, do we?
How is your u530 treating you so far, what tricks, upgrades, concerns you guy have?

Wonder what inside u530 & want to swap in a SSD, here is Lenovo u530 under the hood peak and also:
    U530 User Guide V1.0_en.book - Lenovo (short-cut keyboards, buttons functions ...)
U530 Manual (step-by-step how to disassemble and replace hardware parts...)

My question: putting in a SSD is possible but you have to remove the HDD case, is it ok so far?

Hi Longbodie, how have you found the battery life? Does it make 10 hours on battery with normal browsing / web processing?

    LOL NO WAY.
"with normal browsing / web processing" and brightness set to 80% max time u can get on battery mode is 4 1/2 hour to 5 hours (with 7300GT VGA (if so equipped) disabled all the time), not too bad.

I picked up the U530 Touch (i7) from the Lenovo Outlet store at a steal of a price ($600 after tax). Haven't played with it enough to write a full review and I'm not super tech savvy. First order of business will be upgrading the RAM. Currently only has 4 GB. Not sure how easy that is or how to go about figuring out what I need to purchase.
