I noticed a Z61t for sale in my local pc shop, its in pretty good condition but he wants atleast £500 for it. Is he trying to rip me off? I can't find any on ebay.

    Specs:
    C2D T7700
    1/2GB RAM (I forgot)
    60GB HDD
9 Cell (I think, it sticks out the back) battery
    etc

For little more than that you can get a refurbished E-series Latitude from Dell Outlet UK. It will be almost new, you will have 3 years of great support and warranty and the specs are way better than that.

A while ago I checked the systems there and a well spec'd E6400 (C2D 2.4 GHz, 4 GB RAM, 160 GB HDD 7200 rpm, Nvidia graphics, 1440x900 screen, etc) was around 800 pounds. Well worth the extra 300...

Well £500 was really over my budget anyway. I went to currys to have a look at the netbooks, and ended up walking out with a HP 2133 for only £125. Quite surprised actually and it is built very well.

The Z61t never came with the T7700 CPU.

Heh, well thats what the spec sheet said. Maybe it was a typo, or upgraded.
