I've been using the UPS Store for 6-7 years and so far UPS has never delivered on a Saturday for me. FedEx, UPS, DHL, Airborne, etc, all function on Saturday's. UPS is the only carrier I know of that discontinues delivery service for Saturdays. Pretty lame IMO, which is one of the many reasons why I try to avoid UPS if at all possible, unless there is no other option of course, as with Lenovo.

No one delivers on saturdays unless you have purchased a saturday service. UPS tends to not include it on many unless you add it for extra $$$ while Fedex and some others have it built into some of the higher dollar services (Priority Overnight, etc.).

Its just how it works...saturday is not a business day. Plenty of experience with it here as well as we ship via UPS, Fedex, and USPS at our office regularly.

Not sure how it is in your country Grentz, but here in America the good old USPS will deliver all their mail, even 41 cent letters, on Saturdays. :) With their higher priced services the USPS will deliver EMS packages on Sundays & holidays! Anyways, Saturday is most definitely a business day for the USPS, which is one of the many reasons why I prefer USPS over UPS. :D

P.S.: Despite the vastly superior service that the USPS provides when compared to UPS, I still rank FedEx a step above USPS for service. Then again, FedEx World HQ is based here in Memphis, + Memphis has the largest shipping hub in the world, which probably has a major impact on the import/export speed. Not sure why UPS is lagging so far behind, obviosly by choice though since they refuse to provide service on Saturdays & Sundays.

Sorry Snap, that came out wrong, USPS does deliver on saturdays no matter what :)
But their lack of real tracking lends them to be high risk for expensive items IMO.

UPS does deliver on saturdays as well just like Fedex, it just costs a bit more (and you get the pretty little Saturday on your package just like with Fedex). It seems to be where you live on who is best though, I have two huge UPS terminals right by and they provide unbelievable service here, much better than Fedex who never seem to put any effort into getting your package to you early (countless times I have had packages sit in their local center for days waiting till the "Estimated Delivery Date")

Ah, that is a complete reversal for us then. For me, UPS Ground packages will often be stuck at the local hub for days (the larger freight packages that is).

Agreed on USPS tracking, they're so far behind in that regard. At least they never seem to lose anything. Probably because they have that Federal offense stigma going for them.

Regardless, my experience with Lenovo & UPS Express delivery has been exceptional.
