Estimate delivery was last Monday, called UPS and they asked me to call Lenovo to issue a trace. Called Lenovo and it took them several days to "say" that they will rebook it (I haven't gotten any email order confirmation).

    Questions:

Will I have any chance to ask for upgrade since the laptop was lost and it took them several days to rebook it?

I took advantage of the PayPal $100 rebate, do I still have that deal if they rebook it?

Let's say I want to cancel the order and can wait for several month to get my laptop, is there any worth mentioning model I should look out for? I heard there's a new Dell 12" widescreen and Lenovo may come up with a new X200 or something.

I'm very sorry for your loss, but I think in this case, UPS should be held as the culprit, no?
Secondly, chances are Lenovo and/or Paypal wont honor the promo when you 'rebook' your order. Better prepare for a bitter fight over the phone with their CS.
And finally, as a last resort, check with your Credit Card Issuer for your purchase protection...

Well, I understand that UPS is responsible, but what can they offer? Lenovo will expedite it, and I believe UPS can't do much more than that?

I intentionally bought it with AE. Since Lenovo can rebook the order, I don't think AE is going to offer anything, right? Or I may be wrong?
