    T500 w/ 9cell finally shipped. It went to ky and then back to alaska???? Anyone else with logs like this?

    yes ..i observed this happenin to many guys.....i ordered for t400 on sep1st and sep15th was given as my est ship date but yesterday when i sent a mail to lenovo asking them to cancel my order...i recieved a mail in few hours with my UPS trackin number sayin my order has been shiiped....i hope this is not somekind of scam........as this is happenin to many guys ...i guess mine too would be goin back to china after arriving in louis....

    I'm 99% positive it didn't go to Kentucky then to alaska....

    If you notice, it says CN Departure scan, and then the arrival scan is for Alaska. Nowhere does it say Arrival Scan in KY. Mine did the same thing and I got my laptop just fine. If you don't believe me, go and work out the times. If its 7:30 PM in china that means its either 6:30 or 7:30 AM in KY (depending on where in KY the message is coming from) the KY message is at 2:48 PM meaning only 7-8 hours have passed. It is not possible for the package to get from China to KY in that amount of time.

    I don't know what role KY plays but they seem to have something to do with customs. anyways, the package actually seems to travel from CN -> AK -> KY -> You. If it shipped EXPRESS you should be getting it before 10am on the day of scheduled delivery.

    The UPS tracking page originally had an estimated delivery date of 9/9 but then removed it when the next tracking update was posted. I have my fingers crossed for a tomorrow morning delivery.
