Guys,
I recently got a new T61 notebook. I am having trouble with USB 2.0 on this machine.
When I connect my external USB 2 devices like Memory stick, HDD or camera, I get the same error message" device will run faster if connected to USB 2.0 device, for a list of available USB ports click here"
Then I ignore the message, but the transfer rate is very slow and is less that 2 MB/s.
Did anybody encounter the same problem?
Were you guys able to solve this problem? If so ,what is the way around?
Regards

Did you update your USB drivers?
-
Mine is fine like ZaZ said try updating your USB drivers.
-
Yes, I perform the update driver from the device manager(right click on USB enhanced host controller). it came up with message that 'wizard can not find better driver that the softwrae yu currently have installed"
any other way of updating drive -
Where did the wizard look?

This may be a stupid question but are you using a USB hub? If it's an older USB 1.1 hub then having USB 2.0 won't help. Otherwise, just do as ZaZ says. He knows best.
