    Guys,

I recently got a new T61 notebook. I am having trouble with USB 2.0 on this machine.

When I connect my external USB 2 devices like Memory stick, HDD or camera, I get the same error message" device will run faster if connected to USB 2.0 device, for a list of available USB ports click here"

Then I ignore the message, but the transfer rate is very slow and is less that 2 MB/s.

Did anybody encounter the same problem?
Were you guys able to solve this problem? If so ,what is the way around?

    Regards

This may be a stupid question but are you using a USB hub? If it's an older USB 1.1 hub then having USB 2.0 won't help. Otherwise, just do as ZaZ says. He knows best.
