I'm really puzzled. With a same 2GB Sandisk USB 2.0 memory stick drive, I get 10Mbps transfer speed on my T42 while only 2Mbps on my T60. Any suggestions what could be wrong or needs to be configured to get the full transfer bandwidth?

    Hey Twister and Ryan

I have the same problem on my T61 notebook.
Were you guys able to solve this problem? If so ,what is the way around?

When I connect my external USB 2 devices like Memory stick, HDD or camera, I get the same message" device will run faster if connected to USB 2.0 device, for a list of available USB ports click here"

Then I ignore the message, but the transfer rate is less that 2 MB/s

    Please post the solution
