So I just got my T61p (15.4") and honestly, I'm pretty disappointed, I got the BSOD a few times when playing CS, the thing seems to be running REALLY HOT, like 60 degrees celcius (sp?) on idle and gets pretty hot on a load, it also will freeze when i play CS for all of a few minutes, and it is pretty annoying a lot of people have been saying doing a clean install will help but I am not too sure, this is pretty annoying, I have the Intel Turbo Robonson Memory if that makes a difference....I would like some help with what I can do to fix this, I installed a lot of software which I thought would help, but they are not, according to a lot of programs i have tried my laptop doesnt have a fan (which it must...) so yeah...
Thanks

Trimming down vista can help alot. Vista pretty much keeps your harddrive constantly running thanks to Vistas new search function. Follow this guide and trim down. Let me know if it helps.

Even after a clean install of vista business x64 I had to disable a lot of stuff to get vista to be more snappy.
Ugh t61p problems,
