I like to use the trackpoint instead of the touchpad as I don't need to move my hands away from the keyboard. But it seems that depending on which webpages I surf the trackNav doesn't do a very good job at scrolling.

when I press the middle buttom to activate the scroll function and try to scroll down or up it lags more or less. Sometimes it won't even scroll at all. It varies from website to website whether it scrolls nicely or lags. Here on NotebookReview discussion pages it doesn't have any problems scrolling and scrolls very smoothly.

It seems that on websites with more images/photos and graphics it tends to lag more. I've installed all the software from the Lenovo website such as the ultraNav drivers and utility. I've also installed the drivers for the ATI graphic adapter in my notebook. Does anyone else have the same problem as me ? Is there anyone who can help me with a solution or is it just the way it is ?

This page is one of those where the TrackPoint lags in scrolling: http://newz.dk/

Which internet browser are you using?

newz.dk is very graphics intensive website. It even lags for me on my desktop w/ a mouse. I don't think it's your hardware or software, just the website in general.

So for websites like this, I recommend you just place your mouse over the scroll bar of the website and scroll that way, it should be smooth.
