    Hi everyone,

Happy New Year to all of you.

I own a W520 (4270CTO) and because I get terrible battery performance on Ubuntu 12.04 I want to add a Ultrabay Battery. Before you start mention that there are no any compatible batteries I want to mention one thing.I have flashed my laptop with a custom BIOS which has no whitelist. So it terms of BIOS hardware rejection I do not think that there is a problem. My only question is if it will work in terms of the hardware structure.I mean if I add it and the BIOS won't reject it,is the machine able to use this battery from the Ultrabay port or not?Did anyone ever tested something like that before.

Ultrabay on the Thinkpad W510, W520 and W530 doesnt have connectors for the ultrabay battery. So it is incompatible with ultrabay battery.
