I'm out of space, so I'm wanting to get the Ultrabay Hard Drive Adapter for my T61p and put this hard drive in it:

I just want to confirm that it will work. I assume it should take any 2.5" SATA drive.
I'd like to order this tonight, so if someone can confirm if it will work, I'd appreciate it.

It appears that it is the correct height (<= 9.5mm) and it is a SATA drive.
Make sure you have the correct Ultrabay HDD adapter made for the T6x series with a SATA connection. -
Awesome,
This is the Ultrabay adapter I'm looking at: (only $40 with EPP)

That's the one. I'm using one right now with my T60. I have XP on one drive and Vista on the other. Dual booting the easy way.

Yesterday it said ships in 1-2 Days, Now it's 2-3 weeks :S

I ordered one last 6/23 and received it
6/27! Again shipped from China. Delivered by 10:30 am per UPS international package rules. The part cost $39.20+PA sales tax and had FREE shipping. From China. For a $40.00 part. Lenovo had to pay more for the shipping than the part was worth... -
Well, I've found the exact same part on newegg, for $45 ($5 more than EPP, $5 less than standard pricing)
I ordered the 320GB drive on Tues before I noticed the adapter was sold out on Lenovo (didn't know Newegg had em) so I immediately canceled. Now the price of the drive jumped up $30 to $160.
On a more positive note, Newegg now carries the 7200rpm version of that drive for just $20 more. Can someone tell me how to find out if the faster drive will still fit in the adapter?

EDIT: According to wdc.com, it's 9.5 mm ±0.20 mm in height, which might be cutting it a little close... what do you think?
EDIT2: Well, that also seems to be the listed height for all WD drives. I'm guessing it'll fit, but I'd like to hear some of your opinions before I throw down $250 on the drive + adapter -

Hmm... on second thought, since the 320GB drive is 7200rpm as well, I might as well use that as my system drive and put my current 160GB in the ultrabay
Ultrabay Hard Drive Adapter compatibility?
