searched but couldnt find concrete answer on this

if im using my x61 with the regular battery and ultrabase, can i put in the ultrabay slim battery once my main starts running down, then take out the main battery and replace it with another battery without the computer shutting down?

    thanks

How are you going to reach the latch for the main battery while the ultrabase is connected?

Probably easier to hibernate the machine and swap batteries.

wow they couldnt design the stupid ultrabase so you could swap batteries without removing it... good answer though so simple yet i didnt think of it

if your going to design secondary batteries for a laptop how hard would it have been to implement a battery swap feature...makes the slim battery pretty useless imo
