When I ordered my t410s, I chose the additional ultrabay battery option:
3 cell Ultrabay Battery [add $120.00]
And I think it is the same as this: Thinkpad battery 42,
http://shop.lenovo.com/SEUILibrary/...F20B94413B5AD6E684D2848E9&&hide_menu_area=yes
Yet, as I was looking through the tabook descriptions and options, they list a ThinkPad Battery 43 (4-cell) 57Y4536 with picture on page 61 and again in a description of page 69
So, is there a new battery out, because if I shelled out the additional $120, I would like the newer 4-cell one????

i'm not aware of a ThinkPad Battery 43. the part number listed in the PSREF is 57Y4536 -- the number for the 3-cell #42.
either way, the battery unit having 3- or 4-cells doesn't matter with lithium polymer. the total amp/hour rating is what would matter. you could have three large cells or nine small ones and still wind up with the same runtime. -
Do you know the wh (Watt-hour) of the 3 cell Ultrabay Battery ???

How much weight does the 3 cell ultrabay battery add? I placed my order for an "elite configuration" last week and am beginning to think I should add the 2nd battery given the short battery life that is being reported.
Ultrabay battery 3 or 4 cell?
