Hi guys,
I'm a little confused:what is ThinkPad Serial ATA Hard Drive Bay Adapter?
Lenovo said:"The ThinkPad Serial ATA Hard Drive Bay Adapter II lets you add a second hard drive to the Ultrabay"
Is an EXTERNAL adapter (you put the HDD) connected via USB or ...?.
(is like an USB device?)
Thanks in advance for your help and time.

It's a hard drive adapter that slides into the slot where your optical drive normally is. Put the hard drive into the adapter, pull the optical drive out, and put your hard drive in. And now you have an extra hard drive with no increase in size.

Tis true. In addition, you can have a different operating system on the Ultrabay hard drive. When going through the POST routine (at boot-up), hit F12 and you will be given the option of booting to either hard drive. No charge for this tip.

Thank you very much .
Now I understand.
Thanks. -
Anybody know if the Ultrabay Battery is still available? Didn't see it when I ordered, don't see it under Accessories and I don't see it at the Egg either.

The sales rep I spoke with said they were just temporarily out of stock.

when i ordered it was saying it will make your laptop 4 weeks late.
