Hoping someone can help...i've used ThinkVantage CSS 8.2 (Password Manager) successfully under XP SP3...

...I'm now using Vista Business 32 exclusively and can't seem to get CSS/Password Manager 8.2 to run properly...It installs successfully, but when I launch the app, nothing happens...cssuser and cssauth processes show up in the taskbar, but I don't see the interface at all...all necessary driver are installed and the fingerprint reader works to log me into Windows...have already tried searching the forums and googling to no avail...i'm aware CSS is not compatible with Firefox...I'm trying to use it with IE 7, but what i've noticed is IE will freeze immediately after i install CSS 8.2...default homepage won't load and i can't access any of the browser options nor add-on manager after launching IE...

...i've tried resetting the TPM and even disabling it completely, nothing seems to help...it doesn't look like Windows Defender nor McAfee is blocking it...running it in compatibility mode and/or under Administrator doesn't help either...i do have XP as a virtual machine to try under, but would like to figure out why Password Manager won't properly load under Vista, please...has anyone experienced a similar problem and solved it? Thank you in advance!

Thank you, Domaxx, you're the first response out of dozens of views...it's probably not a very common problem...I'll try your suggestion after I get home...do you mean to cancel the Windows logon password or the system/hdd password? (I never set the hdd password)

I don't remember well if it needs:
    Clear security chip
    or
    Password reset service
    Test and you see
