Hi,
I did a clean XP installation, following the guide provided by Arkit3kt ( http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=188992 ).
All went well, and I did install the drivers in the list. However, the device manager displays in the "Other devices" list, 3 yellow question marks (with a little exclamation mark inside), with the title "Base system device" and one named "Network Controller".
I noticed that I can't detect any wireless signal (and I guess that is why the network controller is shown as an unknown device...although I installed the wireless adapter driver)
How can I find out what the other "base system devices" refer to, as their properties all look the same?
Thanks

Remember that each driver can have its own install method that needs to be followed. If you ran info problems, I do believe you followed the directions wrong, or at the very least, you failed to check your work as you went along. You likely DLed the wrong Wireless driver (very easy mistake) so you just need the other non-Intel ABGN driver. That solves one of the listings, then its probably best to go down through device manager and see whats not listed that should be listed.
