This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Upcoming Thinkpad lineup?

    A while ago, I was told, when considering purchasing a laptop, that rumblings had it that the new Thinkpads would possibly be released in June. Thus far, I haven't been able to find anything about it, though, and as far as I can see from the NR forums, people aren't exactly crossing their fingers on an imminent release.

    Can anyone shed some light on this?

    I saw this post in another related thread. It's possible they might be pushed back another couple months. Add in the long shipping times it could be like September before we get the new Thinkpads in our hands.
