My T520 has NVS 4200M Optimus switchable graphics. The current drivers from Lenovo appear to be a huge package which contain both the Intel HD 3000 drivers and NVIDIA drivers. Can each driver be updated independently? Can I get the latest Intel drivers and upgrade just that or are these drivers packaged in some special way to handle the switching aspect of the graphics? The VERDE drivers from NVIDIA state that they shouldn't be used for switchable graphics unless I'm reading it wrong.

I didn't find anything in any searches.

You can use the Verde drivers for switchable graphics. Intel drivers, though, are a different story.
