I have a 2 1/2 year old T 60. I plan to upgrade fairly soon. One thing I have been somewhat disappointed in is the screen brightness, especially when not plugged in. What should I look for to get a brighter screen?

    Thanks.

Which T60 do you have? If you've got the 14" you're pretty much stuck at 150 nits if you get a Lenovo branded part. I had the BOE-Hydis(13N7061) on my 14" R60. It's supposedly the best of the SXGA+ screens. I found the brightness acceptable on the upper levels, but it's not super bright.

If you've got the 15" T60, they go up to 200 nits depending on the screen. It's brighter, but not hugle so.
