I have the T61 in my sig below, it has a cracked screen that is only 1280x800, is it possible to replace that screen with the same size but yet the higher resolution one? And what is the FRU or part number for that screen, or how do i find out what that part number is.

oh i know my current screens part number, and it is still usable, as it is just a smallish crack, im just wondering if it is possible to replace the current screen with a higher res one and the part number of the higher res one.

Yes you can replace the screen with a WXGA+ version (1440x900). The part number for the screen can be found at the bottom of this link. The hardware maintenance manual will show you how you can replace the screen on your T61 - link.

I currently have the Lenovo LTN141WD-L05 WXGA+ Samsung panel and in my opinion it's not a great screen as colours seem to be washed out, particularly lighter hues. I think people are generally happier with the LG panels on their Lenovo's so I opt for those given the choice.

era86's did a blog about his screen upgrade on his T61 which may come of interest to you - link.
