Anyone know if it will be (easily) possible to replace the Thinkpad (Atheros) A/B/G wireless card with the Thinkpad A/B/G/N card?

I referenced the T61 hardware guide and it looks like there are 2 antenna connections to the A/B/G card and 3 for the A/B/G/N... Do all T61p's (14.1" 4:3) have the 3 antenna connections or only with the A/B/G/N cards?

    Thanks!

Someone brought up the possibility that the N requires a separate antenna. I dont know if Anyone has verified this.

my understanding is that draft N utilizes one antenna for outgoing and one for incoming, so it should have at least 2, maybe also interpreted as 1 more than A/B/G

A/B/G uses only two antennas - ABGN requires 3 antennas to fully utilize the MIMO that is part of N. I guess you could, but i have not tried it myself and therefore I cannot say if the N card will work with only 3 antennas.
