    Hi

I bought a T41 few weeks ago from e-bay, it has a 1.4 pentium centrino, 256mb Ram, 40GB.Apart form upgrading the Ram, Is it ok if i upgrade my cpu to 2.0ghz? do i have to do something with the bios or just chip in the processor.I dont have the system manual book, is there any other way?
Also! is it possible to put 128mb video card into it for gaming as i wanna make it an all in 1 machine for me. Are there any other places where i could find t41 upgrade information?

    thanks

You can't upgrade the GPU. In theory it should be able to upgrade the CPU. I personally would in some more memory and a 7200RPM hard drive first. You'll get more bang there. Just the expense of it and the fact you'll void the warranty.

If you really want a gaming rig, there are better choices than the T42p. ThinkPads are business notebooks and therefore don't have the latest and greatest gamingwise. Something like the Asus Z70va is a much better option. Asus are well built. Good Luck.
