    Hi,

    I have T4100 with 256GB HDD and I want to buy a Intel SSDSA2M160G2R5.

I saw people using the HDD as a secondary device in the ultrabay.
Do I need it? What is the effort of doing it?

Will replacing to SSD will give me results that worth the price?

EDIT: Is there a difference between SSDSA2MH160G2C1 vs SSDSA2M160G2R5?

    Thank you!

Going from a 250GB HDD to a 160GB SDD will markedly change for the better the all-round performance and experience (e.g. noise levels) of your computer - the only downside is if the smaller capacity is compromizing, in which case you could well chose to put the HDD in the ultrabay for additional capacity - or you could choose a 250GB non-Intel SSD instead. I have used a SSD for a year now and have never had a more valuable upgrade to any computer. "Worth" is difficult to say, as it depends on your financial situation and alternative uses you might have for the same money. An SSD certainly delivers a huge boost to a computer with a HDD - in that sense it is "worth it".
