I just picked up a Lenovo N100 laptop today from costco. This laptop has Windows XP home installed and I would much rather prefer to use Windows XP Professional so I will be doing a complete reinstall over top.

Is there anyone else that has done this on a similar model? I have installed operating systems many times but never on a laptop. I believe that there is a recovery partition present on the drive. Should I bother keeping that seeing as how I am going to XP Pro and the recovery is for XP Home? Should I wipe it out completely or leave it as is?

Here is what I have done so far:

    1. Created Rescue and Recovery CD
    2. Created Product Recovery CD / DVD
    3. Downloaded all drivers for the N100 off the Lenovo website and burned to DVD

Is there anything else I'm missing? Is there any order that drivers need to be installed in that I should be aware of?

can you help me please ??
I format all partitions on my Lenovo N100, and install fresh copy of WIN XP Pro, and after that install all drivers from Lenovo site.
And now...!!!..., where can I download or find OmniPass software?

Copy the IBM tools and drivers folders elsewhere. That will give you all the applications and drivers.
