    Hey guys,

I am planning on purchasing a 1x2GB stick of RAM for my thinkpad x201, which has the base 1X2GB option when purchased from Lenovo.

I was wondering if the X201 uses 204 pin version? On Newegg, the type I am looking at is:

    204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM

And for the speed, is it DDR3 1066 (PC3 8500)?

    Thanks!

The X201 can use the 1333 mhz version of the ram. Yes the ram is 204 pin.
